Politickled.com is located in San Francisco, CA and was created with a simple goal: present readers with News articles that represent the issues fairly and allow the readers to come to their own conclusions. We have seen the impact and damage that the traditional media has had over the past several years. Following each others lead like a pack of lost tourists in a new city, the traditional media has favored stories that make the best ratings over those that must be told to the public. From avoiding coverage of the Iraq War to ignoring legislative achievements, in favor of infighting among candidates. From celebritizing those that speak the loudest and most hateful to marginalizing those that say the plain truth.
The effects have been present and sustained. More and more people are flocking to the internet for their source of news because this is our last, best hope at fair reporting. Politickled.com aims to support that hope and with a chorus of other sites and outlets throughout the web, hope to bring a little truth and a little more light to as many people as want to see it.
